206.9826 Refund for certain air carriers.An air carrier conducting scheduled operations or all-cargo operations that are authorized under 14 C.F.R. part 121, 14 C.F.R. part 129, or 14 C.F.R. part 135, is entitled to receive a refund of 1.42 cents per gallon of the taxes imposed by this part on aviation fuel purchased by such air carrier. The refund provided under this section plus the refund provided under s. 206.9855 may not exceed 4.27 cents per gallon of aviation fuel purchased by an air carrier.
