F.S. 253.785253.785 Liberal construction of act.—It is intended that the provisions of this act shall be liberally construed for accomplishing the work authorized and provided for or intended to be provided for by this act, and when strict construction would result in the defeat of the accomplishment of any part of the work authorized by this act, and a liberal construction would permit or assist in the accomplishment thereof, the liberal construction shall be chosen.History.—ss. 10, 16, ch. 79-167; s. 5, ch. 84-287.
