All clerks, deputy clerks, magistrates, and official process servers of the district court must file with the chief judge a bond approved by the chief judge in a penal sum determined by the state court administrator, conditioned that the officer will (1) perform the duties as clerk, deputy clerk, magistrate, or process server of that court; and (2) account for and pay over all money which may be received by the officer to the person or persons lawfully entitled.
The bonds must be in favor of the court and the state.
