Mich. Ct. R. 9.107 (2026)

(A) Proceedings for Discipline. Subchapter 9.100 governs the procedure to discipline attorneys. A proceeding under subchapter 9.100 is subject to the superintending control of the Supreme Court. An investigation or proceeding may not be held invalid because of a nonprejudicial irregularity or an error not resulting in a miscarriage of justice. (B) Local Bar Associations. A local bar association may not conduct a separate proceeding to discipline an attorney.
