The Appendix to Title 49 (Transportation) no longer appears in the U.S. Code. Congress enacted Title 49 as positive law by Pub. L. 95–473 (Oct. 17, 1978), Pub. L. 97–449 (Jan. 12, 1983) and Pub. L. 103–272 (July 5, 1994), and each of those Acts repealed the provisions it restated in Title 49.
