468.4337 Continuing education.The department may not renew a license until the licensee submits proof that the licensee has completed the requisite hours of continuing education. The number of continuing education hours, criteria, and course content shall be approved by the council by rule. The council may not require more than 10 hours of continuing education annually for renewal of a license. A community association manager who provides community association management services to a homeowners’ association must biennially complete at least 5 hours of continuing education that pertains specifically to homeowners’ associations, 3 hours of which must relate to recordkeeping.
