ARTICLE 2 EDUCATION ACCOUNTABILITY ASSESSMENT PROGRAMS

20-14-28. Reporting on effect of nationally certified teachers on student performance.

When the state-wide comprehensive educational information system provided for in Code Section 20-2-320 becomes functional, the office shall conduct a longitudinal study of the effect of nationally certified teachers on student performance in Georgia. Thereafter, theoffice shall prepare an annual report addressing the question of whether nationally certified and Teacher Alternative Preparation Program teachers have improved student performance in Georgia.The office shall submit such report to the State Board of Education and shall notify the members of the General Assembly of the availability of such report in the manner which it deems to be most effective and efficient.
