BOARD OF REGENTS AND UNIVERSITY SYSTEM
20-3-73.2. Continuation of authority; governance of museum; transfer of assets.

After June 30, 2010, the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia shall be the successor to and a continuation of the former Georgia Agrirama Development Authority provided under former provisions of Article 11 of Chapter 3 of Title 12 as such existed on June 30, 2010, and shall continue the mission of the former authority.

The change of the governance of the State Museum of Agriculture and its continuation, as provided in this Code section, shall in no way affect any existing obligations, liabilities, or rights of the authority as such existed on June 30, 2010. All such obligations, liabilities, and rights are transferred to, vested in, and assumed by the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia. All existing contracts and agreements between any party and the authority shall not be affected by this Code section but shall continue in full force and effect, without interruption, as contracts or agreements of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia.

All right, title, interest, and ownership of all assets, including all real estate, of the authority are transferred to and vested in the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia.
