[Amendment III] [Quartering of Soldiers]

No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.

- U.S. Const., amend. 3, in its prohibition against the quartering of soldiers in any house in time of peace without the consent of the owner, is a facet of the right to privacy. Smith v. Price, 446 F. Supp. 828 (M.D. Ga. 1977), rev'd on other grounds, 616 F.2d 1371 (5th Cir. 1980).
