NRS 706.444 “Insurance company” defined. As
used in NRS 706.444 to 706.453, inclusive, “insurance company”
means any entity authorized to provide insurance for motor vehicles in this
State, including, without limitation, a captive insurer, as defined in NRS 694C.060, and a person qualified as a
self-insurer, pursuant to NRS 485.380.
