Rules — Enforcement — Administration

- The Director of the Division of Labor shall promulgate rules to establish minimum standards for the qualifications of those individuals performing blasting in Arkansas.
- The director shall implement, enforce, and administer this subchapter and the rules adopted pursuant to this subchapter.
- Rules under this section shall be adopted pursuant to the Arkansas Administrative Procedure Act, § 25-15-201 et seq.

- The director may establish by rule fees for certifying individuals as qualified to perform blasting in Arkansas.
- The fees shall not exceed the sum of thirty dollars ($30.00) per applicant.

Amendments. The 2019 amendment by No. 315 deleted “and regulations” following “Rules” in the section heading; substituted “rules” for “regulations” throughout the section; substituted “Rules” for “Regulations” in (c); and substituted “rule” for “regulation” in (d)(1).
The 2019 amendment by No. 910 substituted “Division of Labor” for “Department of Labor” in (a).
