Surrender of license and registration

- Any person whose license or registration shall have been suspended under any provisions of this chapter, or whose policy of insurance or bond, when required under this chapter shall have been cancelled or terminated, shall immediately return his or her license and registration to the Office of Driver Services.
- If any person shall fail to return to the office the license or registration as provided in this section, the office may direct any peace officer or person so designated by the office to secure possession thereof and to return it to the office.

Power to Suspend or Revoke.
Commissioner of Motor Vehicles has absolute power to suspend or revoke the licenses of drivers involved in accidents without any showing of negligence on their part, and provisions of state or federal constitutions are not violated thereby. Franklin v. Scurlock, 224 Ark. 168, 272 S.W.2d 62 (1954).
