The total days of attendance of a pupil in the schools and classes maintained by a school district, or schools or classes maintained by the county superintendent of schools, during the fiscal year shall be the number of days school was actually taught for not less than the minimum schooldays during the fiscal year less the sum of the pupil’s absences.
