United States v. Monroe Charles Schiffman (1978)
In United States v. Montrom, 345 F.Supp. 1337 (E.D.Pa.1972), aff’d without opinion, 480 F.2d 918, 919 (3d Cir. 1973), the court found that a valid *1141 public interest was established by allegations of the registrant’s “mammoth purchases.” Defendant Schiffman would contend there is a difference between “extraordinary” and “mammoth” purchases and “large” purchases.
