Call Now: 904-383-7448Any other provisions of law to the contrary notwithstanding, if any employee, his employer, or the designated reporting official fails to make such reports properly as are required under this chapter with respect to employment or membership or to make contributions, the board of trustees, after having exhausted all administrative efforts to obtain such reports or contributions, is authorized to and shall declare null and void any and all benefits which would have otherwise accrued to the employee if the proper reports and contributions had been made, provided that those contributions which had been previously credited to the individual's annuity savings fund shall be forthwith refunded. In addition, such individual shall no longer be a member nor henceforth be eligible for membership.
