The 2017 amendment, effective June 1, 2017, designated the existing provisions of this Code section as subsections (a) and (b); deleted the former proviso at the end of subsection (a), which read: "; provided, however, that nothing herein contained shall authorize the transaction of business on Sundays" following "bank hours"; and substituted "in this Code section" for "herein contained" near the beginning of subsection (b).
