     §516-26  Interest in compensation paid by the corporation.  The fee owner, lessor, and all legal and equitable owners shall share in the compensation paid by the Hawaii housing finance and development corporation as their respective interests appear.  Notwithstanding any contrary provision in any contract or lease, a developer or other person entitled to share in the lease rentals shall share in such compensation paid by the corporation to the extent of the developer's or other person's interest as may be determined by agreement of those entitled to share in the compensation paid by the corporation, or in the absence of such agreement, pursuant to chapter 658A.
