Md. Rule 8-102. Term of Court

(a) For accounting and statistical reporting purposes, the Supreme Court and the Appellate Court shall each have one term annually, beginning on September 1 of each year and continuing until the following August 31.

(b) The expiration of a term does not affect the jurisdiction or authority of the court with respect to actions and matters then pending.
