THE MOTOR CARRIER ACT

479.41 Duties of commission; rules.

Sec. 1.

    The commission shall supervise and regulate the safety of operations of each motor carrier. The commission may promulgate rules for the purpose of promoting safety upon the highways and the conservation of their use.
