Teachers contributing to the teachers retirement fund association, as provided in this chapter and the articles of incorporation and the bylaws of the association, are entitled to the benefit of coverage by or entitlement to annuities or benefits from the association. All teachers of Independent School District No. 625, St. Paul, are members of the teachers retirement fund association and participate in the benefits provided by the special retirement fund.
