Nev. Rev. Stat. § 209.111
1. The Board has full control of all grounds, buildings, labor, and property of the Department, and shall:
(a) Purchase, or cause to be purchased, all commissary supplies, materials and tools necessary for any lawful purpose carried on at any institution or facility of the Department.
(b) Regulate the number of officers and employees of the Department.
(c) Prescribe regulations for carrying on the business of the Board and the Department.
2. The Board may elect to obtain prescription drugs for the treatment of offenders through the purchasing agreements negotiated by the Nevada Health Authority pursuant to paragraph (b) of subsection 1 of NRS 422.4025. To do so, the Board must notify the Authority in the form prescribed by the Authority.
