In counties subject to the provisions of Section 138.1a of this title, expert witness compensation for indigent defense shall be paid by the court fund pursuant to procedures established by the governing board of the court fund. Added by Laws 1992, c. 303, § 21, eff. July 1, 1992. Amended by Laws 2001, c. 129, § 4, eff. July 1, 2001.
