§ 6103. Service fees.
(a) General rule.--The department may by regulation establish appropriate fees for aviation services
including:
(1) Crash fire rescue training.
(2) Landing area site inspections.
(3) Issuance of private airport licenses.
(4) Special aviation license board meetings.
(b) Recoupment of certain costs.--The department may recoup any costs incurred in the placement of appropriate runway
markings on airport runways and highway directional signs to airports. The costs of
highway direction signs shall be recouped from the Aviation Restricted Account.
(c) Prohibition.--The department may not impose or collect a fee for the privilege of landing aircraft
at State-owned airports on persons engaged in flight instruction or on noncommercial
flight operations.
