Tenn. Code Ann. § 36-3-304 (2026)

The clerk shall, on each license, place the following form of certificate, to be signed by the person solemnizing the marriage:

"I solemnize the rite of matrimony between the above (or within) named parties on the ____________________ day of ____________________, ____________________."
