DEFINITIONS.

“In this division:“(a) The term ‘employer’ means any person, institution, organization, or other entity that pays salary or wages for work performed or that has control over employee opportunities, except that such term does not include—“(1) the Federal Government; or“(2) any State government.“(b) The term ‘Secretary’ means the Secretary of Labor.“(c) The term ‘veteran’ has the meaning given such term under section 101 of title 38, United States Code.”
