Rule 9. Special Administrators. If a special administrator is appointed pursuant to AS 13.16.310–13.16.330, the appointment is effective only until a personal representative is appointed or for a set term with extensions granted for good cause. The order of appointment must specifically state the powers, duties and the set term, if any, of the special administrator. (SCO 1014 effective January 15, 1990)
