Sec. 18-7. Costs on Interlocutory Proceed- ings Costs taxed on any interlocutory proceedings must be paid before any further pleading may be filed or other step taken in the cause by the party against whom they were awarded, unless the judi- cial authority specially directs otherwise or the written consent of the adverse party is given.
