Sec. 34a-8. Time To Plead Commencing on the plea date stated on the petition, pleadings shall first advance within fifteen days from the plea date stated on the petition, and any subsequent pleadings, motions and requests shall advance at least one step within each suc- cessive period of fifteen days from the preceding pleading or the filing of the decision of the judicial authority thereon if one is required. If the respondent enters a pro forma denial before the plea date stated on the petition, the respondent is not precluded from filing any plead- ings within the time frame specified.
