Sec. 42-52. —Time for Filing Motion for Judgment of Acquittal Unless the judicial authority, in the interests of justice, permits otherwise, a motion for a judgment of acquittal shall be made within five days after a mistrial or a verdict or within any further time the judicial authority allows during the five day period.
