Sec. 43-42. —Definition of Commencement of Trial For purposes of Sections 43-39 through 43-41, ‘‘commencement of trial’’ means the commence- ment of the voir dire examination in jury cases and the swearing-in of the first witness in non- jury cases. (P.B. 1978-1997, Sec. 956E.)
