Sec. 44-13. —Scheduling for Proceedings before Trial; Continuances Cases should be promptly assigned for arraignments, motions and other preliminary proceedings so as not unduly to delay the progress of the cases or to exceed time limits for such proceedings set by rule or administrative directive. Ordinarily, continuances for any preliminary proceedings, when allowed under these rules, shall not exceed two weeks. (P.B. 1978-1997, Sec. 975.)
