(1) To receive Board approval, preceptor training seminars shall consist of six (6) hours of training in the supervision of AITs and interns to include:

(a) Concepts of mentorship;

(b) Teaching techniques;

(c) AIT program requirements;

(d) Analysis of expectations and needs of AITs and preceptors; and,

(e) Domains of practice.

(2) To receive Board approval, preceptor refresher courses shall consist of two (2) hours of training in the areas listed in subsection (1).
