Section 2. Standards, Labeling, and Adulteration of Food, 26-2-1 through 26-2-441.

ARTICLE 6 MEAT, POULTRY, AND DAIRY PROCESSING PLANTS

26-2-215. Penalty.

Any person who violates this article or rules and regulations adopted under this article or any sanitary standards or specifications adopted under this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.

OPINIONS OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL

Whether a violation of the provisions of former Code 1933, § 42-406 (see now O.C.G.A. § 26-2-212) could be punished as for a misdemeanor as provided for in former Code 1933, § 42-9908 (see now O.C.G.A. § 26-2-215) was questionable. 1960-61 Op. Att'y Gen. p. 396.
