Rule 1. Scope of Rules—Construction. The procedure in the superior court and, so far as applicable, in the district court shall be governed by these rules in all actions or proceedings of a civil nature—legal, equitable, or otherwise. These rules shall be construed to secure the just, speedy and inexpensive determination of every action and proceeding.
