It has been held that even state and local requirements for the recording and indexing of judgments “have no application to federal judgments of condemnation”, Norman Lumber Co. v. United States, 223 F.2d 868, 871 (4th Cir.), cert. denied, 350 U.S. 902 , 76 S.Ct. 181 , 100 L.Ed. 792 (1955), and any failure of the United States to comply with such recording requirements does not provide a basis for divesting or impairing its title, id. at 870-71.
