Liquid—liq.

Ounce—oz.

Gallon—gal.

Pint—pt.

Pound—lb.

Quart—qt.

Square—sq.

Weight—wt.

Yard—yd.

Avoirdupois—avdp.

Cubic—cu.

Note:

Periods and plural forms shall be optional. Exponents are permitted.
