Sec. 29-1. Contents of Delinquency Peti- tions or Informations (Amended June 24, 2002, to take effect Jan. 1, 2003; amended June 13, 2014, to take effect Jan. 1, 2015; amended June 11, 2021, to take effect Jan. 1, 2022.) A delinquency petition or information shall set forth in plain, concise and definite language the offense which the petitioner contends the child or youth has committed. The petition or information shall further state the citation of any provision of law which is the basis of the petition or information, together with a statement that the offense occurred on or about a particular date or period of time at a particular location.
