Sec. 31a-9. Severance of Offenses If it appears that a child or youth is prejudiced by a joinder of offenses, the judicial authority may, upon its own motion or the motion of the child or youth, order separate trials of the counts or pro- vide whatever other relief justice may require. (Adopted June 24, 2002, to take effect Jan. 1, 2003.)
