Sec. 39-29. Nolle Prosequi A prosecuting authority shall have the power to enter a nolle prosequi in a case. It shall be entered upon the record after a brief statement by the prosecuting authority in open court of the rea- sons therefor. (P.B. 1978-1997, Sec. 725.)
