Sec. 42-23. Materials To Be Submitted to Jury (a) The judicial authority shall submit to the jury: (1) The information upon which the defendant was tried; and (2) All exhibits received in evidence. (b) The judicial authority may, in its discretion, submit to the jury: (1) Appropriate written forms of verdict; (2) A copy or recording of the judicial authority’s instructions to the jury; and (3) Upon request by the jury, a copy or recording of an appropriate portion of the judicial authority’s instructions to the jury. (P.B. 1978-1997, Sec. 858.) TECHNICAL CHANGE: Technical changes were made in subsection (b) to update the terminology to align with current technology and practice.
