(1) Cross-connections as defined in subsection 64E-8.001(4), F.A.C., are prohibited.
(2) Any cross-connection involving a Limited Use Public, Multi-family, or Private Water System shall be corrected using the methods established in the “Recommended Practice for Backflow Prevention and Cross-Connection Control,” American Water Works Association Manual M14, Third Edition, 2004, available from the American Water Works Association at 6666 West Quincy Avenue, Denver, CO 80235.
