(1) Revenues deposited into or appropriated to the Water Protection and Sustainability Program Trust Fund shall be distributed by the Department of Environmental Protection for the following purposes:(a) The alternative water supply program as provided in s. 373.707. (b) The water storage facility revolving loan fund as provided in s. 373.475. (c) The water quality improvement grant program as provided in s. 403.0673. (2) Revenues deposited into or appropriated to the Water Protection and Sustainability Program Trust Fund for purposes of the water storage facility revolving loan fund may only be used for such purposes.
(3) On June 30, 2009, and every 24 months thereafter, the Department of Environmental Protection shall request the return of all unencumbered funds distributed for the purposes of the alternative water supply program. These funds shall be deposited into the Water Protection and Sustainability Program Trust Fund and redistributed for such purposes.
