497.146 Licensing; address of record; changes; licensee responsibility.Each licensee under this chapter is responsible for notifying the department in writing of the licensee’s current e-mail address, business and residence mailing address, and the street address of the licensee’s primary place of practice and shall notify the department within 30 days after any change in such information, in accordance with procedures and forms prescribed by rule. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, electronic notification to a licensee’s last known e-mail address of record or preferred street address of record with the department constitutes adequate and sufficient notice to the licensee for any official communication to the licensee by the board or the department, except when other service is expressly required by this chapter. The department may adopt rules, forms, and procedures, including a procedure for electronic reporting of the data provided pursuant to this section.
