1-4-3. American History Month.

  1. The State of Georgia recognizes the importance to the citizens of this state of the principles upon which the United States of America was founded and of an understanding of the history of our nation. To encourage the study of American history by the citizens of this state, the month of February of each year is designated as "American History Month" in Georgia. The citizens of this state are encouraged to observe "American History Month" with appropriate observances and programs.
  2. The month of February of each year is also designated as Georgia History Month in special tribute to the founders, builders, and preservers of this state.
