Call Now: 904-383-7448A parent of a child may delegate caregiving authority regarding such child to an individual who is an adult, who resides in this state, and who is the grandparent, great-grandparent, stepparent, former stepparent, step-grandparent, aunt, uncle, great aunt, great uncle, cousin, or sibling of such child or is a nonrelative who is approved as an agent by a child-placing agency or a nonprofit entity or faith based organization for a period not to exceed one year, except as provided in Code Section 19-9-132, by executing a power of attorney that substantially complies with this article.
