Call Now: 904-383-7448Should the county board of education for any school district or consolidated school district or board of education, or corresponding body, in any independent school district in which a local tax is now or may hereafter be levied for school purposes deem it necessary or advisable to refund, retire, or refinance any outstanding schoolhouse bonded indebtedness of such district, it shall, by written resolution, call an election to be held in the district by giving notice by publication thereof once a week for four weeks previous to the election in the newspaper in which the legal advertisements for the county are published, notifying the qualified voters that on the day named an election will be held to determine the question whether bonds shall be issued by the district for refunding, retiring, or refinancing outstanding schoolhouse bonds of such district.
