Call Now: 904-383-7448Any person who shall sell or buy any dead human body or bodies or in any way traffic therein or transmit or convey, or procure the transmission or conveyance of any dead human body or bodies to any place outside of this state for purposes of sale or dissection, shall be punished by imprisonment and labor in the penitentiary for not less than one nor more than ten years; provided, however, that the board for the distribution and delivery of dead bodies shall be empowered to make payments to next of kin as burial benefits amounts not exceeding those payable from time to time by the Social Security Administration.
