ARTICLE 2 SURPLUS LINE INSURANCE

33-5-20. Short title.

This article shall constitute and may be referred to as "The Surplus Line Insurance Law."

OPINIONS OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL

Surplus line insurance unacceptable as used car dealer licensure.

- The State Board of Registration of Used Car Dealers may not accept surplus line insurance in lieu of the surety bond required by O.C.G.A. § 43-47-8(h) for proper licensure. 1994 Op. Att'y Gen. No. 94-5.
