Call Now: 904-383-7448If the keeper of the jail consents to receive a person from the custody of federal authorities, as provided in Code Section 42-4-9, neither the jailer nor the county authorities shall refuse to receive any other person so committed by the authority of the United States government unless 20 days' prior written notice of the sheriff's refusal to receive any more persons committed by the federal authorities is given by him to the United States marshal or other federal officers charged with the custody of such persons.
