Call Now: 904-383-7448An applicant for the professional engineer's examination shall designate the special branch of engineering in which the applicant proposes to engage. The scope of the professional engineer's examination administered to him or her shall be prescribed by the board with respect to that branch of engineering, with special reference to the applicant's ability to design and supervise engineering work so as to ensure the safety of life, health, and property.

The 2018 amendment, effective July 1, 2018, inserted "or her" in the middle of the second sentence of this Code section.
